Celebrating Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s 150th Anniversary, we have designed and produced a little ‘visual essay’ titled ‘Toshie Mackintosh at The Hill House’.
Illustrated across 52 pages are images which contrast aspects of the House, with elements of the designs from our ‘Collection’ of fabrics and wallpapers. A foreword by Roger Billcliffe reflects on Mackintosh’s use of squares, the inspiration behind our designs and also features the National Trust for Scotland’s imaginative restoration project for the House – the ‘Box’.
We are printing a limited run of the books and would be happy to send you one as long as our stocks last – just let us know and apologies, in advance, if demand outstrips supply and we run out!
